Privacy policy

1. Who we are

This website is run by Aerion OÜ, an Estonian private limited company, registry code 17328101, VAT number EE102902048, with its registered office in Tallinn, Estonia. Aerion OÜ is the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question, write to contact@aerion.ee or call +372 5690 1376.

2. What we collect and why

You book an inspection	The address of the building, your name, phone and email, when would suit you, how you want us to reply, and your note.	To reply with a price and a time and to carry out the inspection. Steps you ask for before a contract, and the contract itself: GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
You join the waitlist	Your email and, if you give it, your town.	To tell you when drones start flying in your town. Your consent: Article 6(1)(a). You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us.
You use the contact form or email us	What you send: your name, email, and anything else you fill in, such as phone, company, role, address, the kind of place and your message.	To answer you. Our legitimate interest in answering questions: Article 6(1)(f).
You open any page	Server logs kept by our web host: your IP address, the time, the page asked for and your browser.	To deliver the website and keep it secure. Legitimate interest: Article 6(1)(f).

The city guess on the network page. When you open the network page, your browser asks GeoJS (get.geojs.io), an IP location service, for the approximate town of your internet connection. We use the answer only to show the nearest planned city first and to fill in the town in the waitlist form, which you can change or clear before you send it. The lookup runs in your browser: Aerion does not receive or store your IP address or the result, unless you send the waitlist form with the town in it. The guess is often only right to the region. If you prefer not to be looked up, block get.geojs.io in your browser; the page works the same.

3. Who receives your data

We do not sell personal data. These services handle it for us:

• Netlify (USA) hosts this website and keeps its server logs.
• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers the booking, waitlist and contact forms to our inbox. It runs outside the European Union.
• Our email provider stores the emails we receive and send.
• GeoJS answers the city guess on the network page. It receives your IP address directly from your browser.

Some of these services process data outside the European Union, including in the United States. We also share data with authorities when the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

Inquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after the last contact, then deleted or fully anonymised, unless the law or an active customer relationship needs it longer. You can ask us to delete your data, or to take you off the waitlist, at any time.

5. Cookies

We set no cookies. Your browser keeps a small note of your language choice.

6. Your rights

You have the right to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict how we use it, to take it with you, and to object to what we do on the basis of legitimate interest. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; that does not affect what was done before.

To use any of these rights, write to contact@aerion.ee. We answer within 30 days, as Article 12(3) of the GDPR requires.

7. Complaints

If you think we have not handled your data lawfully, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), aki.ee.
